Olexandra’s art is truly amazing. She dreams of imaginary and fantastic things that do not and can not exist in nature. Erastova creates fantastic hybrids of the human beings and surrounding fauna. It might look like a witty joke – yet in fact it is a serious inquiry into the human nature and the nature of universe in general. The only thing that holds it within the limits of reality is the talent of the adequate and honest „making“ of painting, the language of technological perfection of the painting. Luc Isenschmid überträgt den mechanischen Funktionen seiner Tools in einem Subjektwechsel die Aufgabe, aktiv zu agieren, sie werden zu Performern, als hätten sie selbst die Initiative ergriffen für ihre Auftritte.
